Josephine Elizabeth Lane

Josephine Elizabeth Lane was born on November 2, 1932 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday, January 3, 2008 in Shawnee, at the age of 75 years. Josephine was the daughter of William Henry and Bonnie Bell Long Nuckols. She married Raymond Eugene Lane on August 8, 1956, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and one brother. Survivors include husband, Raymond Eugene Lane of the home; sons and daughter-in-law,James Gilbert, Macomb, Darrell and Shannon Lane, McLoud; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby & Wayne Rath, Macomb, Carrol and Lony Marshall, California, Darla Cole, Texas; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Nuckols, Colorado, Jack & Lupe Nuckols, California; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Jamison Cemetery, with Rev. Eugenia Batterton officiating. The family will gather prior to the service at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker at 9:15 A.M. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Meeker.
