Joseph "Joe" Cernocky

Joseph 'Joe' Cernocky was born on March 25, 1926, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, November 9, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Joe, the son of Peter John and Karolina (Suva) Cernocky, was a life-long resident of Prague. He worked as a farmer and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Joe’s parents; two sisters, Mary Opela and Anna Sedlacek; one brother, Henry Cernocky; and nephew, Henry Cernocky, Jr., preceded him in death. Survivors include his nieces, Jo Ann Mazkoori of Prague and Deborah Swink of Prague, friends, David and Carol Sedlacek of Prague, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Price Oswalt officiating. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
