Joseph 'Joe' Jay Guhl, of Oklahoma City, was born on May 20, 1954 in Stafford, Kansas. He departed this life on May 25, 2018, at the age of 64 years. Joe was the son of Harrie and Colleen Guhl. He graduated from Shawnee High School and attended Oklahoma University. Joe married Joyce Ann McGinnis on July 31, 1982, in Las Vegas, NV. He loved to watch OU football and OKC Thunder Basketball. Joe and Joyce took many wonderful trips together which brought them great joy. Joe's parents, Harrie and Colleen Guhl, preceded Joe in death. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Joyce Ann; two sisters, Nancy and husband Will Parker and Dixie and husband, Richard Jacobs; one brother, Samuel Guhl; sister-in-law, Sondra and husband, Bennie Morris; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Sarah, Courtney, Kassi, Kiersten, Brett and Molly and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
