Joseph Henry Lowe

Joseph Henry Lowe was born on December 19, 1928, near Meeker, OK, and departed this life on Saturday, October 1, 2011, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 82 years. Joseph was the son of Bert and Rosa (Rogge) Lowe. He worked as a machinist at Tinker Air Force Base for 38 years. Joseph was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Meeker. He married Marjorie Redding, they were married 52 years at the time of her death. His parents, wife, Margie; two brothers, two sisters, two granddaughters and one grandson preceded Joseph in death. Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-laws, Jolene & Keith Gibson of Meeker, Rose & Art McCoy of Holdenville, OK , Jan & Mike Wilkins of Moore, OK, Paula & Jimmie Cox of Meeker, Jeannie & Doug Williams of Harrah, OK, three grandsons Colton Mosley of Guthrie, OK, Christopher Gibson of Dale, OK and special grandson, Brandon Lowe of the home, four granddaughters, Kristin Edwards of Meeker, Daphne Rhoades of Shawnee, OK, Natalie Candelaria of Oklahoma City, OK, Hailie Ashcraft of Oklahoma City, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Meeker, on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM then from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the First Methodist Church in Meeker, OK, with Rev. Mike Melton and Rev Cal Brannon officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
