Joseph Edward Cox

Joseph Edward Cox was born on March 31, 1964, in Sacramento, CA, and departed this life on Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 41. Joe, the son of James Ray Cox and Shirley Ann Nutt George, was a resident of Oklahoma City. He worked in the paint hangar at Tinker Air Force Base for 20 years. Joe loved life, never met a stranger, and had many hobbies and interests including fishing, golf, NASCAR, OU football, and the Dallas Cowboys. His passion was music. Joe played guitar, piano, drums, and sang. His father preceded Joe in death Survivors include mother, Shirley George of Oklahoma City; step-father,Wayne Newton of Oklahoma City; brother, Jim Cox of Harrah; step-brothers, David Newton of Kansas, Timmy Mayes of Kansas; niece, Jennifer Cox of Harrah.
