Jonothan Zane Cooper Sr was born on November 25, 1947 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 31, 2020 in Depew, Oklahoma at the age of 72. Zane was born to Preston and Lena (Smith) Cooper. Zane married Linda Medlin on September 11, 1964 in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Zane was saved and called to preach in January 1977. He loved to sing gospel songs and play his guitar. Zane was the pastor of Valley View Church of God in Depew, Oklahoma. Zane is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Lena Cooper, sisters Patricia Woodard-Howard and Nelda Gaye Cooper and brother Thomas Riley Cooper. Survivors include wife Linda Cooper of Depew, Oklahoma; son Jonothan Cooper Jr and his wife Tomoko of Depew, Oklahoma; daughter Zanna Guinn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter LeAnn Reinhardt and Tony Arellano of Stroud, Oklahoma; brother Faron Cooper of Florida; grandchildren Darrel Guinn of Depew, Meghan Butz and husband Peter of Tulsa, Lindsay Guinn of Tulsa; Christy Cooper of Stroud, Austin Cooper of Tulsa, Blade Cooper of Depew, Caden Reinhardt of Stroud, Veronica Renfrow and husband Brandon of Stroud; and 8 great grandchildren. Zane was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Valley View Church of God, Depew, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
