Jonathan Adam Helms

Adam Helms Shawnee, Oklahoma, resident was born on March 13, 1987, in Shawnee, and departed this life on April 2, 2008, at his home, at the age of 21 years. Adam was the son of Brenda Forest. Adam attended Meeker Elementary School and graduated from Meeker High School in 2005. He received an award for his skill in welding in FFA. Adam worked alongside his brother, Chad, cousin, Billy, and uncle Mike at Unit Liner Company where he installed oilfield liners, then later was employed at Smith House moving where he kept his cousins, aunt and uncle entertained and amazed by his daring feats in climbing on houses. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by many and was excellent cook and loved cooking alongside his Nana Zera and was an avid fisherman and always knew where the best fishing spots were and loved sharing his fishing stories with his Nana Zera. He adored his two little girls and their mother Beth and was wonderful Dad to them. He was a hard worker, quick learner and able to accomplish whatever he set out to do. He will be greatly missed and leaves behind many cherished memories. His granddad, Johnnie Helms preceded Adam in death.
