Jomlong Bruce Jones

Jomlong 'Bruce' Jones 59 of Oklahoma City, OK., left this life on August 1, 2018. Bruce was born in Ubon, Thailand July 25, 1959. He moved to Homestead, Florida to attend and graduate high school. He then moved to Oklahoma and graduated from Advanced Barber College. Bruce had a generous heart and he loved to cook. He combined his passions and became a cook for a nursing home. He later was hired as a cook for Buy For Less for over 12 years before working in the kitchen at Crest for his remaining years. Bruce also loved gardening and was proud of the bamboo forest he grew in his yard. He made a childhood dream come true when he recently purchased his Ford Mustang, and enjoyed driving it as much as possible. He loved to laugh and loved his friends dearly. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents in Thailand, Hong & Thale Looksida, as well as his older brother in Thailand, Somsey Looksida. He is survived by his youngest brother, Sanong Looksida in Thailand, 3 sisters, Somporn Keidle of Midwest City, OK, Udom Thompson of Navarre, FL, Prakong Spears of Evansville, WI, nephews & nieces across Thailand and the U.S. and his lifelong friend of 33 years, James Waller.
