Johnny Steven Speer

Johnny Steven Speer was born in Leedey, Oklahoma on March 7, 1935 and departed this life at his home in Kendrick, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years. Johnny was the son of Mack and Minnie (Winckompleck) Speer. Johnny lived in the Kendrick area since 2007 moving from Morgan City, La. Johnny owned a commercial diving company for many years in Morgan City. He married Mary Carver in Madill, Oklahoma in 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one granddaugher and numerous brothers and sisters, Survivors include, One son, Kevin Speer of Lake Jackson, Tx, One daughter, Cheryl Morris of Kendrick, Ok, One sister, Jean Lucas of Midwest, Ok, Four Grandchildren, Ashley Speer of Lake Jackson, Tx, Jennifer Speer of Lake Jackson, Tx, Crystal Speer-Knepp of Houston, Tx, Nathan Morris of Sweeny, Tx, Four Great Grandchildren, Makayla Speer of Lake Jackson, Tx, Chloe Wiley of Lake Jackson, Tx, Kasen Wiley of Lake Jackson, Tx, Emma Charanza of Lake Jackson, Tx, Other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Kendrick Community Church in Kendrick on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Rocky Williams officiating. Under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
