Johnnie P. Kupczynski

Johnnie Pete Kupczynski, age 80, of Harrah, OK, was born on June 20, 1930, in Harrah, Oklahoma. He was the son of Martin & Sophia (Atamanczyk) Kupczynski. He left this life on Monday, January 3, 2011, in Oklahoma City, OK. Johnnie graduated from Harrah High School. He worked as a mattress maker for Spring Air for many years. Johnnie enjoyed farming, tending to his cattle and he loved to play dominoes. Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth M. 'Liz' Kupczynski, two brothers, Mike & Frankie and one sister, Martha. Survivors include 5 sisters, Mary Willis, Nicoma Park, OK, Rosalee Stamper, Harrah, OK, Louise Burghart, Harrah, OK, Carolyn Ross, Harrah, OK, Vicye Hyums, Sapulpa, OK; 5 step-children; 8 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary and wake service will be held 6:40 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 7, 2011, at the St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
