Johnie William Stanka

Johnie William Stanka, Carney, Oklahoma, resident, was born on January 12, 1923, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and departed this life on April 15, 2006, at his home in Carney, at the age of 83 years. Johnie was the son of John E. and Katie Williams Stanka. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Johnie married Betty Jo Clark on February 7, 1946, in Cordell, Oklahoma. He worked for Napa Auto Parts for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carney. His parents, one brother and four sisters preceded Johnie in death. Survivors include, Wife, Betty Jo of the home, Two daughters & sons-in-law, Randy & Larry Chaney of Carney, Sandy & Jack Whitten of Wellston, One sister, Alice Rogers of Deming, NM, Six grandchildren & spouses, Jerry Lee & Kelly Goodwin, Marcus & Jennifer Chaney, David Chaney, John & Michelle Christian, Tina & Mike Bowser, Jackie & Cindy Whitten, Fifteen great-grandchildren, Justin & Zachery Goodwin, Dalton, Shad, Dakota & Brayden Chaney, Logan & Alex Chaney, Jonathon, David, Jeffrey & William Christian, Christian Bowser, Jacob & Olivia Whitten.
