John William Laizure, Sr.

John William Laizure, Sr. was born on August 7, 1954, in Long Beach, California, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Davenport, Oklahoma, at the age of 55. John, the son of William Anderson and Clarabell (Waters) Laizure, had been a resident of Prague since 1976. He married Vickie Darlene Hensley on May 1, 1984 in Rockport, Texas. John worked as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, James Laizure and one son, John William Laizure, Jr. Survivors include wife, Vickie Darlene Laizure of the home; mother, Clarabell Laizure of Prague; son, Christopher James and Terri Laizure of Prague; daughter-in-law, Melissa Peeler; three grandchildren, Colton Lane Laizure, Devon Leon Peeler and Maison Ryan Attardi.
