John Preston Thomas, Ii

John Preston Thomas, II, was born on May 21, 1918, in Wewoka, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 87. John, the son of John Preston and Rosie Kelcey Thomas, was a resident of Prague. He married Dorothea Riley on July 10, 1943, in Seminole. John was a salesman with Prague Wholesale for many years and later worked for R. A. Fielden Realty. John was a member of the Prague United Methodist Church. His parents and four brothers preceded John in death. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothea Thomas of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, John Preston 'Jake' Thomas, III, of Austin, TX, Howard Glendon and Donna Thomas of Lawton; daughter and son-in-law:Kim and Karl Beachler of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Idanell Thomas of Van Buren, AR; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
