John Lee Emmack

John Lee Emmack was born on August 6, 1919, in Leon, IA, and departed this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2004, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 85. John was the son of Melvin M. & Lula Adair Emmack. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married Irene Jablonski and together they raised three daughters. Most of his life, he lived in Casper, Wyoming where he was a barber. In 1988 he retired and moved to Harrah. John was a member of the Harrah First Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene Emmack and one grandson, Timothy Scott Cooper. Survivors include 3 daughters & 1 son-in-law, Madonna Cooper, Oklahoma City, OK, Joan & William Gee, Bellaire, TX, Judith Heitzler, Harrah, OK; 4 grandchildren, John L. Burback & Jason A. Burback, Houston, TX, Rae M. Cooper Durbin, OKC, OK, Brigitte Heitzler Heath, Newalla, OK; and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2004, at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa?s Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
