John Lau

John Henry Lau was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on October 17, 1953 and departed this life in Cushing, Oklahoma on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the age of 58 years. John was the son of Charles Louis and Mildred Mae (Brown) Lau. He was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma. He married Darlene Wright on March 24, 1978 in Stroud. John worked for OG&E as a fieldman for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Lau of the home. One son & daughter-in-law: Hank & Elizabeth Lau of Stroud, OK. One daughter & son-in-law: Crystal & Butch Paine of Sand Springs, OK. Three Grandchildren: Ian Taylor Paine, Ashton Bailey Paine and Taylor Johnston Lau. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Monday May 14, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Paul Ragle officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
