John (Jj) Florer

Johnny (JJ) Florer was born in Kendrick, Oklahoma on February 19, 1936 and departed this life at his home on December 31, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Johnny was the son of Lawrence and Julia (Ramsey) Florer. Johnny was a resident of Stroud and Kendrick area most of his life. Johnny served in the United State Army. He was a member of the Stroud Christian Church and was a rancher. He married Martha R. Stark in Ark City, KS on August 8, 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Jeff Lane and Dee Hodges. Survivors are Diann & David Hodges of Tecumseh, Connie & George Bookout of Altus, Sabrina Paulette & Joe Lane of Claremore, John and Heather Florer of Sapulpa, Brent and Pam Walker of Owasso, Brad and Kavra Walker of Barnsdall, Darrin and Carrie Walker of Barnsdall, Kate and William Waggoner. Thrity five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Memorial will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Janurary 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Will Fine officiating.
