John Fredrick Boatman

John Frederick Boatman, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born May 8, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, and departed this life March 11, 2016, at his home at the age of 76 years. John was the son of Rex and Mary (French) Boatman. He served in the United States Air Force. John worked numerous jobs over the years, and the one he enjoyed the most was being a door greeter at Wal-Mart in Chandler. His parents preceded John in death. Survivors include, three daughters, Ann Hatcher of Chandler, Nancy Wilkie of Kentucky, and Teresa Gibbs of California; one brother, James Boatman of Missouri; one sister, Bonnie Ray of Arizona; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
