John Christian Kocab

John Christian Kocab, age 52, of Harrah, OK, was born on June, 29, 1959, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was the son of Walter Kocab and Ann Humphrey. John went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 12, 2012, in Midwest City, OK. John proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 15 years. He married Janet Redwine on February 14, 1986, in Del City, OK. He was a senior aerospace analyst at ARINC. John lived in the Harrah area since 1999. He was a past member of the Harrah Lions Club. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and golfing. John was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Janet Kocab, Harrah, OK; daughter, Lauren Redwine, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 brothers, Hugh Kocab, Columbus, OH, Shannon Humphrey, Columbus, OH, Scott Humphrey, Columbus, OH; 2 sisters, Jennifer Stauffer, Columbus, OH, Audrey Kocab, Coumbus, OH; step-father, Herb Humphrey, Columbus, OH and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK 73045. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, April 16, 2012, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
