John Brink

John Brink was born on March 23, 1927, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2007, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. John, the son of John and Gladys Wentworth Brink. He was a long-time resident of Meeker residing in Shawnee at the time of his death. He married Rose Mary Jorski on September 27, 1958 in Harrah. She preceded him in death on August 9, 1961. John married Delphine Reid on April 28, 1973. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2006. John was a member of St. Michael?s Catholic Church in Meeker. His parents and one sister also preceded John in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Frances Brink of Meeker, Daniel and Melissa Brink of Shawnee; brother, William Brink of Bethany; sisters, Mary Maxwell of Oklahoma City, Frances Jones of Lubbock; brothers-in-law and their wives, Tom and Adeliene Jorski of Harrah, Ray and Harriett Jorski of Muskogee, Jim and Pat Jorski of Harrah; 3 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker on Friday, December 28, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. A wake service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007, at 5:30 PM at St. Michael?s Catholic Church in Meeker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM, at St. Michael?s Catholic Church in Meeker with Father Shane Tharpe officiating. Interment will follow at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Harrah, Oklahoma.
