Joe Trousdel Keech

Joe Trousdel Keech, Harrah, OK, age 97, was born on October 1, 1908, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He was the son of William T. & Mary E. Snodgrass Keech. He left this life on October 3, 2005, in Harrah, OK. Joe moved to Oklahoma in 1930. On March 21, 1932, he married Golda Helen Saulsman. To this union were born two children, one son and one daughter. Golda preceded him in death on December 2, 1970. On January 29, 1972, he married Bernice Hagar who preceded him in death on April 30, 1994. On August 12, 1995, he married Velma Branstetter. Joe worked for Douglas Aircraft during World War II. He was a master carpenter who loved making small pieces of furniture and helped build five churches. He was also a master gardener and enjoyed fishing. Joe was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Joe was also preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; one sister; and one grandson. Survivors include his wife, Velma Keech of the home; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Allen & Lorraine Keech, Okla. City, OK; 1 daughter, Tina Norman, Harrah, OK; 1 brother, Drexdel Keech, Pocahontas, AR; 1 sister, Lucille Poindexter, Pocahontas, AR; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 6, 2005, at the Lighthouse Family Church, Harrah, OK, with Rev. David Dick and Rev. Delbert Reed officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
