Joe Jr. Edgmon

Joe Edgmon, Jr. passed away March 9, 2010, at the age of 77, in Harrah, OK. Joe was born to Joe and Beulah Edgmon on November 29, 1932, in Boxley, AR. He was raised a farmer and dairyman in Yellville, AR. In 1972, Joe moved to McLoud, OK, to live with family after his father passed away. Joe later moved to OKC to live on his own and work as an assembler at the Reliant Living Center Workshop in Del City, OK. Joe had a great sense of humor and an incredible memory which he loved to share. Joe attended the First Baptist Church in McLoud and later the Bryant Ave. Baptist Church in OKC. He is survived by 1 sister, LouAnn Gomez of Harrah, 1 niece, 3 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm, Thurs. March 11th at Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK. Graveside services and interment will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Nanney Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the City Rescue Mission, OKC, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK. Services in Arkansas are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
