Joe James Grace

Joe J. Grace, Kendrick, Oklahoma, resident, was born on July 12, 1947, in Healdsburg, California, and departed this life on December 13, 2003, at his residence in Kendrick, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years. Joe was the son of Buck and Daisy Wooden Grace. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Linda Potter in Kendrick, Oklahoma on July 1, 1966. Joe retired from the United States Army in 1987, having worked in military personal. He was of the protestant faith. His parents preceded Joe in death. Survivors include his wife, Linda Grace of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, James & Tara Grace of McLoud, OK, Ron & Marie Grace of Prague, OK; three brothers, Raymond Barrow of Oklahoma City, OK, Jewel Grace of Sparks, OK, Stanley Grace of Jones, OK; two sisters, Susie Keith of Shawnee, OK and Patty Shank of Georgia; 2 grandchildren, Samantha Grace of Davenport, OK, and Kathy Grace of Guymon, OK; 1 great grandchild, Rylan; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at the Parkland Cemetery in Parkland, Oklahoma, with Rev. J.C. Youell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
