JoAnn Marie Lara, Oklahoma City, OK, age 52, was born on March 29, 1957, in Hartshorne, OK. She was the daughter of Raymond King Murray, Sr. & Marian M. (Huisinga) Murray. She departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK. JoAnn graduated from Harrah High School in 1975. She proudly served in the U. S. Army. JoAnn married Raymond Lara on April 2, 1982 in Palm Springs, CA. She was a full time mom and enjoyed painting and sewing. JoAnn was preceded in death by her mother, 2 brothers, David J. Murray and Frank R. Murray. Survivors includeher husband, Raymond Lara, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Christina & Matthew Stapp, Independence, KS, Maria & Keith Kroeker, Oklahoma City, OK, Ramona & Jason Falkner, Oklahoma City, OK; father, Raymond King Murray, Sr., Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Raymond King Murray, Jr., Baltimore, MD; sister, Julie Marlene Yoder, Oklahoma City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Trinity Kroeker, Dade Albin, Ryann Falkner, Kamden Kroeker, Kasen Kroeker, Matthew Stapp, Jr., Madison Falkner and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to JoAnn Lara Memorial Fund at the Bank of Oklahoma, 770 S. Western, Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 12, 2009, at the Church of Christ, Harrah, OK, with Mr. Raymond King Murray, Jr. and Mr. Jim Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
