Jimmy L. Sill was born in Bowlegs, Oklahoma on November 27, 1932 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Jimmy was the son of Elzy Leroy and Zana (Crook) Sill. Jimmy was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He was in the United States Army where he served in Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma & Owned and Operated Sill Farm Supply and Fertilizer Blending Plant for many years, in Chandler, Oklahoma and was a rancher. Jimmy married Opal Lee Melton in Florence S. C. on September 19 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Survivors include, Wife, Opal of the home, Two Sons & Daughter in Laws, Jimmy & Noelle Sill of Diboll, TX, Monte & Kim Sill of Hugo, OK, One Brother & Sister in Law, John W. & Mary Sill of Blanchard, OK, Four Grandchildren, Heather, Jonathan , Garrett, & Bryson Sill, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Paul Ragle officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crohns Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
