Jimmy B. Birkes

Jimmy B. Birkes, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on September 25, 1927, in Tulsa, and departed this life on December 13, 2005, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 78 years. Jimmy was the son of Harry and Gladys Brooks Birkes. He married Joan Alsip Neu in Chandler, on January 31, 1975. Jimmy was a building contractor, he designed and built the Seniors Citizen Apartments on Allison Street in Chandler. His parents preceded Jimmy in death. Survivors include, Wife, Joan of the home, Three sons & daughters-in-law, Jimmy Dean & Teressa Birkes of Tulsa, Darrell Birkes of Tulsa, Stephen & Janell Neu of Stroud, One daughter, Sheryl Birkes of Springfield, MO, One sister, Mildred Carter, One brother, Ken Birkes of Grove, Six Grandchildren, Four great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
