Jimmie Yvonne (Gammill) Dyer was born on October 22, 1928, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2017, in Paden Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Jimmie, the daughter of John and Minnie Gammil, was a resident of Paden for 45 years. She married Charles Roy 'Junior' Dyer, Jr. on September 21, 1979, in Okemah. She was the owner/operator of the Paden Place Caf for many years. Jimmie enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and being caregiver, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her parents; husband, brother, John Gammill; and sister, Ruth Bailey, preceded Jimmie in death. Jimmie is survived by her children;Earlene and Cameron Avey of Paden, Willis Lee Simmons of Paden, Judy and Dewey Short of Seminole, Derinda Reade of Seminole, Janet and Richard Keith of Seminole, Terry Lee and Tommie Huff of Paden; 21 Grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild; step sonCameron Dyer and his wife, Kat; and other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden with Terry Pittman officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
