Jimmie B. Mann

Jimmie B. Mann, age 65, of Newalla, was born on August 3, 1942 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jessie & Lahoma Pettigrew Allen. She left this life on December 23, 2007 in Midwest City, OK. Jimmie graduated from Antlers High School. On June 25, 1964, in Gainsville, TX, she married Bobby ?Bob? Mann. She attended OCCC and received her nursing degree in 1976. She worked at the Shawnee Hospital, and later for Midwest Regional Medical Center for many years, receiving the Nurse of the Year award and many times receiving Nurse of the Quarter awards. The past twelve years she worked for Midwest Regional Medical Center Home Health. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, 2 brothers, Ronnie Allen & James Buddy Allen Survivors include her 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Johnny Mann of McLoud, OK, Greg & Debra Mann of Newalla, OK; 1 sister, Bettye McClure of Monmouth Beach, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Christy Mann, Bradley Mann, Kendra Mann, Jacob Mann, Sarah Mann; 1 great-granddaughter, Kaylee Cook and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
