Jewel Igleheart Hutcherson

Jewel Igleheart Hutcherson of Paden, OK, was born on August 18, 1909, in Mason, OK, and departed this life on Monday, January 3, 2005, in Prague, OK, at the age of 95. Jewel, the daughter of Dan and Rosa McElroy Nichols, was a life-long resident of Okfuskee County. She married Homer Igleheart in 1927 in Paden. He preceded her in death in 1969. In 1977, she married Alton Hutcherson who preceded her in death in 1984. During the 1940?s, Jewel was the postmistress of the Paden Post Office and also owned and operated a restaurant. She was a charter member of the Paden First Baptist Church. Her parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters preceded Jewel in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Frances Igleheart of Paden; daughter, Sharon Kitchen of Paden; step-sister, Dolly Phillips of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Gary Igleheart Alecia Frailey; and 5 great-grandchildren.
