Jessie Sue Mayfield

Jessie Sue Mayfield was born on March 5, 1937, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2007, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. Sue, the daughter of Erby and Mary Addeline Watson Smith, was a resident of Paden. She married Dan Eugene 'Gene' Mayfield on May 1, 1954, in Okemah. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2005. Sue retired from Tinker Air Force Base and was of the Baptist faith. Her parents and two brothers preceded Sue in death. Survivors include, sons and daughter-in-law, Dan Eugene, Jr., and Chauna Mayfield of Paden; Dale Eugene and Sheri Friend of Okemah; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Neil Prosser of Paden; brother, Paul Smith of Dewey; sisters, Joyce Hamman of Prague; Eunice Collins of Paden; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren.
