Jessie Ann Wheeler

Jessie Ann Hobbs Wheeler was born in Stigler, OK on October 11, 1941 and departed this life in Stroud, OK on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Jessie was the daughter of Ulysses and Florence (Harrell) Maddox. She was a resident of Stroud. Jessie worked for Stroud Heath Care as a Nursing Aide for 20 years and loved taking care of people. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husband, Norris Hobbs and Bob Wheeler. Survivors include, two sons, Morris V. Hobbs of Prague, John H. Hobbs of Prague, two daughters Florence 'Lucy' Smith of Chandler, Eva Gorrell of Oklahoma City, one brother, Bobby Grant Maddox of Oklahoma City, and one sister, Peggy Benjamin of Iowa, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at the Davenport Cemetery on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Ron Keeling officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
