Jesse Raye Speer

Jesse Raye Speer was born on July 24, 1986 in Oklahoma City, OK to Amy Jo Doctermon and Scott Raye Speer. Jesse departed this life on Wednesday April 7, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. Jesse was grandma’s boy but a wild spirit at heart and loved motorcycles. He was member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He attended school at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He carried his youthful love for ducks into adulthood where he went by the name of “Duckie” and collected rubber ducks. Jessie is preceded in death by his grandmother Elizabeth Payne, and grandfathers; Larry Randall Payne, Herbert Doctermon, and his daughter Sophia Lilly Layne Fike. Jesse leaves behind his father Scott Speer and wife Sherri of Chandler, his mother Amy Jo Braswell, his daughter Kaylee Leanne Hornsby, his brothers; Joshua Speer, Austin Roop, his three sisters; Amber Rose Crowder, Amy Raye Tramel, Cherri Blossom Roop, his grandmothers; Margaret Rose Doctermon of North Carolina, Donna Talkington, and his great grandmother Louise McCormick. Jesse also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, OK officiated by Chaplin Steve Riley. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net.
