Jerry Eugene Smith

Jerry Eugene Smith was born on May 14, 1944, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Jerry, the son of Cecil and Velma (Davis) Smith, was a long-time resident of Prague. He married Sandra Smith on June 13, 1997, in McAlester, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved to be “the boss”, Jerry loved to dance and spent many hours studying and learning about the Lord. His parents and sister, Beth Yarbrough, preceded Jerry in death. Survivors include: wife of 16 years, Sandra Smith of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Ramonia and Frank Clark of Ardmore; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Hyral Smith of Broken Bow; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ray Hudson of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Eric Harper and Dalis Clark; other family and friends. Jerry's life will be remembered at a private family service.
