Jerry Dean Coleman

Jerry Dean Coleman, 65, a resident of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on January 3, 2021, in Norman, Oklahoma. Jerry was born on August 1, 1955, in Prague, to N.C. and Betty Jo (Hessman) Coleman. Jerry served our country in the United States Navy for 4 years. Jerry enjoyed reading, watching Nascar, and cheering for the University of Oklahoma football team, and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. More than anything, Jerry loved his 4 grandchildren very much, and enjoying his time with them. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; his sister, Shirley Bland; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Cornelius; and his stepfather, Glen Spicer. Those left to cherish his memory are a son, Jeremy Coleman and his wife, Becki; his daughter, Erin Brown and her husband, Barry; his sister, Robin Cornelius; a brother-in-law, David Bland; his four grandchildren, Zackary Coleman, Zoie Coleman, Benjamin Brown, and Helen Brown; a stepbrother, Chuck Spicer; and a stepsister, Kathy Crocker; his nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held for Jerry at a later date. The family will be accepting guests on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
