Jerry Clayton Collins

Jerry Collins was born on June 9, 1935, in Council Hill, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. Jerry, the son of William Sr. and Jewel Pauline (Hill) Collins, was a resident of Prague. He was a graduate of Wainwright High School. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army. He married Ellen C. Clevenger on July 6, 1957. Ellen passed from this life on April 5, 2005. Jerry worked as a mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base for over 20 years. He was a bit ornery, and enjoyed softball, camping and traveling. Jerry’s parents, wife and daughter, Jerrie Collins, preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter, Sherrie Collins and husband Larry Tourville of Florissant, MO; brother, William Collins, Jr.; sisters, Sue Crabtree, Nila Jones and Nina Obermon and many other family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Prague Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Wells officiating.
