Jeff Edward Knight

Jeff Edward Knight, long-time Davenport, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 25, 1941, in Union, Mississippi, and departed this life on November 5, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Jeff was the son of Joseph Lavelle and Faithy Ersell (Reynolds) Knight. He married Marcella Sporleder on November 7, 1964, in Davenport. Jeff worked as an accountant for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for many years. His parents preceded Jeff in death. Survivors include, his wife, Marcella of the home; two sons, Jeff Edward Knight Jr. of Mill Valley, California, and Joseph Charles Knight of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Maranda Nichole Knight of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; one sister, Faye Fancher of Spring, Texas; two grandchildren, Connor Joseph Knight, and Brody Charles Knight; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Johnny Miller, and Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler
