Jean L. Formby

Jean LaRue Formby, Harrah, OK, age 74, was born on July 30, 1935, in Harrah, OK. She was the daughter of Louie S. & Daisy Pauline 'Pollye' (Ingram) Andersen. She departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Harrah, OK. Jean graduated from Harrah High School and Central State Teachers College. She married Joe Formby on July 6, 1974, in Harrah, OK. Jean taught in the Oklahoma City and Harrah Public Schools for over 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and her grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pollye Lou Andersen. Survivors include her husband, Joe G. Formby, Harrah, OK; 4 sons & daughters-in-law, Rocky & Lann Smith, Katy, TX, Mike Smith, Edmond, OK, Steve & Cece Smith, Oklahoma City, OK, Kevin Smith, Oklahoma City, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Sue & Dan Toll, Chicago, IL; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the Harrah United Methodist Church, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
