Jayson Michael Scherer

Jayson Michael Scherer was born in Pratt, KS on June 11, 1978 and departed this life in Stroud, OK on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 37 years. Jayson was the son of Greg and Ginger (Baker) Scherer. He resided in Stroud, OK. with his girlfriend, Misty Burrows and her daughter, Peyton Poteet. He was in the Army National Guard's for eight years as a heavy artillery specialist based out of Pratt, KS and worked as a truck driver for Hinman Trucking hauling crude oil. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Arian, Grandfathers, Earnest Scherer and Larry Harris, grandmothers, Beverly Harris and Mary Smith. Survivors include, two sons, Cody and Thomas Scherer of Pratt, KS, two daughters, Katelyn and Kylie Scherer of Pratt, KS, mother and father, Greg and Ginger Scherer of Pine Mountain Club, CA, one brother & sister in law, Mark & Elizabeth Countryman of CA., step father, David Smith, step brother, Jessie Elrick-Smith, grandparents, R Arlene & Max Smith, other relative and friends. Viewing will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK. from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Monday, September 28, 2015. Service is under Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
