Janie L. Bennett was born in Rhome, TX on July 16, 1933 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Janie was the daughter of Charles 'Sim' and Burness (Lloyd) Teal. She was a resident of Stroud, OK for the past 7 years. Janie was a Christian and was a housewife. Janie married William F. Bennett on October 16, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and one sister, Survivors include, Husband, William F. Bennett of the home, One daughter & son in law, Amy and Tim Sullivan of Stourd, One brother, Jimmy Teal of Wynnewood, Two sisters: Juanita Argo of Oklahoma City, Mildred White of Pocasset, Two grandchildren, Brittney Nichols of Oklahoma City, April Rogers of Stroud Three Great Grandchildren Other relatives and friends Funeral service on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud with Pastor Will Fine officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK
