Janice Rush

Janice Rush, long time Davenport resident, was born January 11, 1937 in New York, NY and departed this life July 14, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Jan was born to John R. Coots and Barbara Bicknell Coots. Jan married Marvin Rush in February of 1955. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword puzzles and a good card game. One of Jan’s favorite places was Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts, she loved getting to run along the beach in the cold water. She also enjoyed dogs. Jan’s greatest love was her family, she was always so proud of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She was a much-loved woman. Jan is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Rush; son Johnny Rush and her parents. Jan is survived by her daughter Barbara Sanders and husband Jack; son Jeff Rush and wife Darla; daughter Kristi Croom; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Becky Wright and husband Max, Debbie Rogers and husband Jesse, Nancy Heribson Evans, Bonnie Dollen and husband Rich and Ginny York and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Parks Brothers Chapel in Stroud, OK. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Memory Care Unit Aquarium addressed to The Renaissance of Stillwater, 1400 E. McElroy Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075.
