James Ray Friend

James Ray Friend was born on January 26, 1947 , in Seneca, MO, and departed this life on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at his home in Chandler, OK, at the age of 64 years. James was the son of Ottis and Zelma (Elliot) Friend, He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. James married Margaret Quick in Independence, MO, in 1969. James worked as a truckdriver for many years. His parents, preceded James in death. Survivors include, his wife, Margaret of the home, one son, James Ray Friend Jr. of Chandler, one sister, Evandean Roberts of Independence, MO, three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Adcock Funeral Chapel in Fairland, OK.
