James M. Horn, age 73, of Newalla, OK, was born on May 30, 1938, in Alex, Oklahoma. He was the son of H. B. & Grace Opal (Henderson) Horn. He left this life on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in Midwest City, OK. James married Loretta Church on November 14, 1959, in Roswell, New Mexico. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force. James worked as a printer and was a horse trainer at Remington Park. He was a member of the Catholic faith. James was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond & John Roy, son-in-law, Jack Price and grandson, Derek Mixon. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Horn, Newalla, OK; 2 sons, Michael Horn, Newalla, OK, Robert Horn, Flagstaff, AZ; 3 daughters & son-in-law, Deborah Mixon, Del City, OK, Cheryl Price, Newalla, OK, Angela & Danny Looney, Newalla, OK; brother:, Bobby Horn, Oklahoma City, OK, 4 sisters, Yvonne Demarest, Midwest City, OK, Gail Anthony, Oklahoma City, OK, Wilma Stegall, Palopinto, TX, Sharon Stone, Boise, ID; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many other relative and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
