James Lee Ogden

James Lee Ogden was born on June 3, 1943, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at his home in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. James, the son of Roger Lee and Irene (Moten) Ogden, was a resident of Prague. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Helen Earline Montgomery on December 24, 1965, at the Eufaula Assembly of God Church. He worked as a barber for 13 years and then for Exxon Mobile for 20 years. He was a member of Faith Bible Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. James was a predator calling extraordinaire. His parents, and son, Jeffrey Lee Ogden, preceded James in death. Survivors include: wife of 49 years, Helen Earline Ogden of Prague; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and April Ogden of Shawnee; grandson, James Trent Ogden of Shawnee; granddaughter, Brianna Marie Ogden of Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Rebecca Ogden of Gresham, OR; other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Faith Bible Church in Prague with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
