James 'Jim' Paul Jorski, age 74, of Harrah, OK, was born February 15, 1943, in Harrah, OK. He was the son of August D. & Martha A. (Miller) Jorski. He left this life on Monday, March 13, 2017, in Midwest City, OK. Jim graduated from Harrah High School in 1961. He proudly served in the Army National Guard 45th Division. Jim worked at Jorski Motor in Harrah for many years and then retired from General Motors after 25 years. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, and the Learn & Earn Club at the Methodist Church in Harrah. He was a former fireman in Harrah and was a ham radio operator. Jim was a 'gentle giant'. He enjoyed cooking & collecting recipes, going to garage sales and loved to fix things. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Jo, brother, Ben Jorski and sister, Rose Mary Brink. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Hopcus-Jorski, Harrah, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Melissa Jorski, Avinger, TX; step-daughter & son-in-law, Kim & Oakley Warren, Moore, OK; 2 brothers, Tom Jorski, Harrah, OK, Raymond Jorski, Muskogee, OK; 4 grandchildren, Jarrod and his wife, Candace, Zach, Callie & Reagan; 1 great-grandchild, Gage and many other relatives and friends. Rosary and Wake will be 6:30 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2017, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2017, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
