James "Jim" Hand

Life Story James “Jim” Hand James “Jim” Hand was born on September 19, 1951, in Prague, Oklahoma and departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 66. Jim, the son of Earl Woodrow and Helen (Brauer) Hand, was a resident of Prague. He married Lisa Marlene Cook on July 6, 1999 in Eureka Springs, AR. Jim was an outdoorsman. He loved his life and his family. His family, especially his grandchildren, will miss him dearly. Jim was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Hand; mother, Helen Hand of Prague; sons and daughters-in-law, Wes and Tiffany Hand of Fairfield, TX, Will Hand of Shawnee, Scott Hand of Jacktown; Jonathon and Megan Davis of Edmond and Joshua and Robin Davis of Shawnee; daughters and sons-in-law Erica and A. J. Shotnokoff of Alabama and Rachel and Spencer Lee of Henryetta; brothers, George and Meredith Hand, of Prague, Johnny Hand of Prague, David and Marlene Hand of Prague, Richard and Patricia Hand of Prague; grandchildren, Tyler, Jared, Parker, Kenzie, Ainsley, Domanique, Destiny, Miah, Jacie, Ashlyn, Ethan, Cayson, Blaklee and Avery; great-grandchild, Ravyn, many nieces and and nephews; other family and many friends. The Hand family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Prague First Baptist Church, at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
