OBITUARY: James Edwin Matheson James Edwin Matheson, a resident of Kendrick, Oklahoma, was born on August 31, 1915 in Macon, Tennessee and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at the age of 89 years.James Edwin Matheson was the son of Walter James and Mary Ann Jones Matheson. Edwin had lived in the Kendrick and Davenport area most of his life, a farmer, retired for Department of Transportation and served on the Kendrick School Board for 14 years. Edwin married Velma Faye Doughty in Davenport, Oklahoma on June 11, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.Survivors include Wife Velma of the home One SonRonald Matheson & wife Janet of Kendrick, OK One Daughter Martha Ann Lynn & husband Steve of Overland Park, KS 7 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren 2 great grandchildren Others relatives and many friends
