James Albert Marker

James A. Marker, long-time Milfay, Oklahoma, resident, was born in Depew, Oklahoma, and departed this life in Bristow, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at the age of 80 years. James was the son of Orvel Issac and Rosa Belle Beard Marker. James had lived in the Stroud area all of his life, was a retired superintendent for Fry and Allied Roofing Company of Stroud, Oklahoma, and was member of the Methodist Church in Depew, Oklahoma. He served in the United State Navy, was a member of the VFW in Bristow, Oklahoma, was a 50- year 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the School Board in Depew, Oklahoma. James married Junoa Skaggs in Stroud, Oklahoma on September 13, 1945. He was preceded in by his parents, and one brother. Survivors include: Wife: Junoa of the home: Two Sons: Jimmy Marker & wife Virginia of Depew, OK; Johnny Marker & wife Jeni of Kellyville, OK: One daughter: LoDonna Mayberry of Depew, OK: One Brother: Ruedell Marker of Belfield, ND: Eight Grandchildren Twelve Great Grandchildren: Other relatives and friends.
