James "Al" Alfred Ward

James Alfred Ward, age 83, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born on December 21, 1929, in Chickasha, OK. He was the son of Alfred & Bessie (Gray) Ward. He left this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in McLoud, OK. Al graduated from Tuttle High School in 1947 and attended OU. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded two bronze stars. Al worked at Tinker AFB for 32 years retiring as a logistics specialist. He enjoyed traveling. Al was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Oleta Brown. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Phil & Shirley Ward, Midwest City, OK; daughter & son-in-law,Valerie & Ron Stahl, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 grandchildren, Victoria Stahl, Cameron & Rebecca Stahl, Zachary Ward; 1 great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Stahl and many other relatives and friends.
