Jake Aaron-Tuck Smith was born on Feb. 6, 2004 to Aaron and Jennifer Smith, and was greeted by his sister Andi Smith. Jake’s first and forever home was on Lake Eufaula in the community of Crowder, OK; Jake and his family moved to Prague when he was 4, and he attended Prague schools between PK-10th grade. Jake was a handsome, polite, free spirited, empathetic, funny, artistic, spiritual, music loving old soul. Jake was a friend to everyone he came into contact with. He treasured his friendships with Kaden Brill, Parker Bailey, Heath Bailey, Sydney Winchester, and Maggie Smith. There were many others too numerous to name. He was blessed to have a first and lifelong best friend in Abbi Cecil. He treasured his walks with his Papa David and his time with his Nonnie. He looked forward to Grandma Gloria’s 5 AM pancakes and enjoyed his fishing time with Grandpa Ronnie. He loved his family fiercely especially his cousins, aunts, and uncles. He treated his dogs Karma and Elby like babies. Jake had an infectious smile and a witty sense of humor. He spent hours with his mom putting together Lego sets. His love of music ranged from the Beatles to Marty Robbins. He shared that love of music and twisted sense of humor with his dad. He could quote movies like no one else. He loved The Office, Star Wars, the Big Lebowski, Tombstone, and American Graffiti, but he always reverted back to the movie Cars. He loved when his sister made late night visits to swoop him up and take him to the late shows while they snuck in food. He loved working with the After-School Program and adored his teachers and coaches. Camping with the boys became a favorite pastime, and he was blessed to have the Bailey and Brill families as positive influences. To know Jake was to love him, he was passionate and loyal like no one else. Jake is survived by his parents Aaron and Jennifer Smith; sister Andi Smith; Grandparents Ron and Gloria Davis; Grandparents David and Connie Jones; Aunts and Uncles Shannon Harkrider and husband Tim; Matt and Annie Davis; Greg and Kerri Cecil; Trish and John Pennington; Brenda Bennett; Terry Smith; and Vonda and Greg Goad. He is also the Great Grandson of Ethel Davis. He was loved by all of his cousins, but had a special bond with his younger cousins Landry and Jordy Davis; Perri and Lillian Harkrider; and Erin Cecil. His older cousins are Scott, Josh, and Kassie Bennett; Latricia and Nick Pennington; Sarah and Suni Goad; and Matt Smith. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bob and Ruth Smith, and Great grandparents LeeRoy and Dixie Underwood, and Cleo Davis. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday at 10:00 at First Baptist Church. We ask that in Jake’s honor you share in his humor by wearing his favorite outfit: Hawaiian shirts, long black socks, and sandals or slip on shoes.
