Jack M. DeWitt, Harrah, OK, age 64, was born on April 1, 1941, in Horntown, OK. He was the son of Hiram M. & Mable Lola Jennings DeWitt. He passed from this life on November 15, 2005, in Harrah, OK. Jack grew up and attended school in Holdenville, OK. He served in the U.S. Navy, worked as an auto mechanic for 30 years and retired from Tinker AFB. His hobbies included raising horses, working on cars, and he loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. Jack was a Messianic Believer and attended B? Nai Shalom Service when he was able. He touched the lives of so many people and he loved them all so much. Jack was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, James DeWitt. Survivors include his wife, Glenda L. DeWitt of the home; 2 sons, Donald DeWitt, San Diego, CA, Kenneth DeWitt, Harrah, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Amy & Sean Harrison, Allen, TX, Michelle & Jimmy Frasier, San Diego, CA; 1 brother & sister-in-law, Kenny & Trena DeWitt, Okla. City, OK; 2 sisters & 1 brother-in-law, Alice & Ron Lester, Tulsa, OK, Wilma Jay, Cleveland, OK; 6 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
