J. E. Coleman

J. E. Coleman was born in Soper, Oklahoma on March 24, 1923 and departed this life in Moore, Oklahoma on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at age of 86 years. J. E. was the son of Ules and Rebecca Ann Webb Coleman. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He served in the United States Army, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud, and retired from Allied Material Corporation Roofing Division. He married Susan Rebecca Pierson in Stroud, Oklahoma on June 10, 1948. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan on March 17, 1999, parents, 1 son, four brothers, one sister, and one grandson. Survivors include, Three Sons, David Coleman &wife Rosene of Oklahoma City, OK, Donald Coleman of Stroud, OK, Patrick Coleman of Stroud, OK, One Daughter, Barbara Minter & husband John of Tulsa, OK, Two Brothers, Leon Coleman of Midwest City, OK, Bobby Coleman of Milfay, OK, One Sister, Ercella Williams of Stroud, OK, Nine Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Others relatives and friends,. Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Christ in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Vance Crowe officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
